Draw the arms and the legs
Next, you can draw the arms and the legs of the cartoon character. Arms are made from short straight lines while the hands are created from curved ones. The legs are also made from short straight lines while the feet are slightly irregular.
Adding the hair, the ears and the hat
On top of the head, draw a large hat using a long curved line. Ears are made from two short curved lines. You can also draw some hair on both sides of the head. Inside the hat, draw another long line near the bottom of the object.
a cute face using a few basic elements
Inside the hat, sketch two eyebrows using short curved lines. Inside the head, you can start by adding two large circular shapes to represent the eyes. Both pupils are made from smaller circles.
The nose is made from a long curved lines and the mouth is done using a small rectangle. You can also draw a few teeth using mostly a mix of simple short lines.

Below the nose and above the mouth, draw a long curved line to form the beard of the character. Next, draw a few patterns on the jacket of the character using long rectangles (or short lines, both techniques are good).
Time to add bright colors inside the illustration
This cartoon lumberjack is mostly filled with red and brown colors. Notice how the beard and the hair are darker. The pattern on the jacket and the stripe on the bottom of the hat are also darker. Pants are blue and the teeth are created from thin gray lines.
